Ravaceae

Ravaceae are social and open people.

They’re half plant/half animal things with mossy skin and leafy hair that like hot humid areas and bright light. They have one biological sex and reproduce by releasing spores from their flowers through semiannual orgies; they tend to have open relationships and have no qualms over whoever joins in on flower people mating season.

Healthy happy ravas grow seeds in their skin which feed off of waste in their bodies and get sUPER FUCKIN STINKY before they bloom. They have to be careful of what they eat; they have no way of excreting waste and instead anything they can’t absorb for their own nutrients is turned into a kind of self made fertilizer for the seeds. Anything that can’t be absorbed or turned into fertilizer though just gets stuck inside them and can seriously harm them in big doses.

The smell of the seeds is misleading as ravas eat very healthy and shower at least once a day (often 2 to 3 times a day, usually after eating). They are clean and fresh and pretty.
